A Jubilee Concert took place in the Rikssalen (Hall of State) at the Royal Palace in Stockholm on December 7, 2004, to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Palace.
The concert program included music from the 16th century to the present day. The Army's band performed a commemorative march composed by Erik Berndalen. Dinner followed the concert.
On the arm of King Carl, Queen Silvia was radiant in a red satin ensemble. As she frequently does, she carried one of her treasured Darby Scott necklace handled handbags.
